This specially formulated 8 week programme targets children of various age groups and aims to promote a healthy Emotional Intelligence (EQ) in children and teens. This programme is designed to provide children and teens with the right tools to be able to make healthy life choices and to provide them with life skills to overcome everyday challenges of the modern-day world. The programme will take place after school for 1 hour per week throughout the duration of a school term. Each child will be provided with a Zeal for Life® Kit of items for reinforcement of skills learnt in the session and further information for parents. • Week 1: Defining Emotional Intelligence • Week 2: Awareness of Feelings • Week 3: Healthy Lifestyle • Week 4: Communication • Week 5: Conflict Resolution • Week 6: Empathy • Week 7: Making choices • Week 8: Success in Life

Parenting is the most rewarding and at the same time the most demanding job in the world! Parents often feel unsupported and unsure of how to parent positively when faced with so many modern-day elements that compete for our pre-teens and teens attention. This 4-week programme offers support and assistance on gaining valuable perspective on the family situation. The programme is based on the 4 important cornerstones for positive parenting which are - Happiness, Inspiration, Motivation and Zeal. The outcomes of this programme will include family consistency, enhanced family values and goal setting and will ensure smoother family relationships. Parents are provided with a new take-home tool each week to assist with structure and routine in the home. The learning outcomes of this parent workshop include: Week 1 – Happiness: • Teaching by example • The importance of play, laughter and affection • Spending quality time daily Week 2 – Motivation: • Giving acknowledgement and showing appreciation • Using positive discipline with respect • Being of service Week 3 – Inspiration: • Modeling lifelong learning • Reflecting on uniqueness and how strengths and talents impact on this Week 4 – Zeal: • Allowing room to grow & make mistakes • Living your values • Giving unconditional love • Practicing true listening
