For many young people, their parents' divorce marks a turning point in their lives, whether the divorce happened many years ago or is taking place right now. Parents divorce for many reasons and it is common for young people to think that their parents' divorce is somehow their fault. This workshop helps to show young people that their feelings of anger, frustration or sadness are normal and gives tips for getting through this emotional rollercoaster. It is recommended that all siblings attend together and parent participation and follow-up is essential. Investment Fee: R600/participant (only child) R450/sibling (more than one child from a family) (Includes Dealing with Divorce Kit, Workshop Resources, light refreshments and Parent Feedback Registration Closes: 8th June 2012

Can you imagine life as a child these days? As adults, we can't even begin to imagine what that must be like. Take a look at our destructive world through your child’s eyes and try to imagine just for one moment how challenging it must be! Our Zeal Kids Holiday programme is based on instilling Zeal for Life® which means to have enthusiasm and energy for everything that you do. Our interactive work shopping and training will not only leave your child with a smile on their face and filled with zeal…but they will also leave with tangible tools for coping with whatever life throws their way! Alongside this your child will be involved in preparing their own allergen free lunch and snacks that will lay the foundation for nutritious eating. With our qualified Master Trainer’s working on a thematic approach and skilfully incorporating life skills based activities into art, sport and play your child will be equipped with tangible tools to use in everyday life without them even realizing that they are learning. Our emphasis is on FUN and we use the language of childhood by “playing with a purpose” rather than just aimlessly doing activities to keep your children busy! At EQual Zeal® we ensure that our workshops are of the highest quality. This ensures that each child receives special and individual attention. Parents and participants are provided with feedback after the workshop so as to encourage follow-up of the skills learnt. Many kids struggle with finding an outlet for their anger. You might sometimes find yourself as a parent wondering what's up with your child's attitude. One minute they are well-behaved and the next minute, they are raving little monsters! This builder workshop provides them with healthy alternatives to losing their temper. It also looks at what the outcome of uncontrolled emotions. (Grade 3 - Grade 5) This workshop ½ day workshop aims to assist your child to objectively reflect on what he/she has achieved so far this year and to help them to decide what they would like to achieve in the future. A discussion of the differences between Wishes, Dreams and Goals will help them to set out a realistic goal setting plan to provide them with motivation to move right direction to achieving their goals! This exciting workshop provides the tools for meaningful goal achievement for the rest of the year through the creation of a Zeal Vision Board that will enhance concepts learnt in the workshop. Your child can expect a fun filled journey of self-discovery with lots of crafts and activities included. Your child will leave with Zeal for life, happiness, motivation and inspiration.
