All Equal Zeal® trainers undergo a strict screening process and are ultimately hand-selected individuals who have a history of working with children. Coming from a variety of well- qualified backgrounds, including psychology, coaching, teaching, training, mentoring or facilitating, our trainers are passionate about making a difference. Enthusiasm for life that embodies the Equal Zeal® philosophy is a vital factor in the selection process.
Ultimately what makes our trainers unique is their love for children and their willingness to empower our future generation of leaders! All Equal Zeal® branches are owner run with emphasis on quality and professionalism.

2. Have you had any counselling or coaching experience before?
3. Have you worked with children before?

5. Do you believe in the importance of young people's mental health?
6. Are you enthusiastic, organised and creative?
7. Do you want to own a business that can really make a difference?
8. Are you willing to learn the administrative functions of being a business owner?
9. Are you motivated to develop and manage your own business?
10. Do you have a flexible personality and are willing to learn & grow with the business?
If you answered YES to 7 or more of these questions you may be the perfect candidate to own an Equal Zeal® franchise.
Follow these simple steps to make a place for yourself on the Equal Zeal® team:
STEP 1: Make a statement!
Fill in our Statement of Interest document and return it to the Equal Zeal® Head office along with your curriculum vitae & references. We will do a background check to see if you are the type of person we would like to represent and uphold the name of our business.
STEP 2: Answer the call!
Once we have received your Statement of Interest and are satisfied with the information you have supplied, we will call you to discuss your application telephonically. We will also discuss the possibilities for any territories you have mentioned that you are interested in.
STEP 3: Make it official!
You will be sent copies of our binding agreements, the disclosure document and registration procedures with details of upcoming licence holder training. A police clearance certificate will have to be produced prior to signing any binding contracts. This takes 21 - 28 days and will need to be applied for at your local police station.
STEP 4: Get with the programme!
All candidates will benefit from a more thorough grounding to assist them in becoming successfully versed in the core concepts of Equal Zeal® and are requested to partake in the Equal Zeal® pre-course programme. This is a 6-module programme which is based on the six widely used methods of empowerment used by Equal Zeal®. It also looks at a self development process in preparation for becoming a franchisee.
STEP 5: Training day!
Attend 4 day training programme to acquire the skills necessary to start your own Equal Zeal® business. All candidates will need to complete the pre-course programme prior to completion of the 4-day training programme. Only once certification is received, will the licence to operate be granted to run the Equal Zeal® programmes.
STEP 6: Make it happen!
Once you have been trained as a suitably qualified Equal Zeal® programme facilitator and you have completed your self-study programme; you will be assisted in setting up and running your own branch in your allocated area. All business set up tools & resources will be provided!
STEP 7: It’s a go!
Attend 2-day follow-up training course once you have successfully run your own workshops. This training certifies and assists you in opening a Life Coaching Studio for Kids® in your area.
